# Policy Manager

The policy manager allows you to define and manage different settings for multiple hosts at once.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Please note**: If several policy managers are assigned to the same host and manage the same settings, Enginsight applies the settings of the policy manager with the highest priority. If the priority is also the same, Enginsight applies the settings of the most recently created policy manager.
{% endhint %}

***

:compass: Navigate to **Hosts** → **Policy Manager** to show a list of all created policy managers. If you have not created a policy manager yet, this view is empty.

The [policy manager overview](#policy-manager-overview) provides information such as:

* which host settings were configured for a created policy manager.
* which hosts are assigned to the policy manager.
* which priority the policy manager has compared to other policy managers.

You can also [export policy managers](#export-policy-managers) and [add new policy managers](#add-policy-manager).
