# Host: Detail View

<i class="fa-compass">:compass:</i> Navigate to **Hosts** → **Overview** and click the name of a host to open the host detail menu.

For easier orientation, the host detail menu shows the name of the host, the operating system installed on the host, and the tags assigned to the host. A colored dot also indicates whether the host is active (green) or inactive (red).
