## General Information

This section summarizes all information from the Ping Monitoring Overview.

The following information is displayed:

<table><thead><tr><th width="200.03125">Column</th><th>Description</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td>Availability</td><td><p>Indicates whether the corresponding target system is available.<br><br>The following values may be displayed:</p><ul><li><strong>Reachable</strong> (green): The target system is reachable and therefore available.</li><li><strong>Unreachable</strong> (red): The target system is not reachable and therefore unavailable.</li></ul></td></tr><tr><td>Target</td><td>Displays the IP address of the monitored network device or the name of the monitored domain.</td></tr><tr><td>Tags</td><td>Displays the tags assigned to the corresponding ping check.</td></tr><tr><td>Watchdog</td><td>Displays the name of the Watchdog responsible for monitoring the corresponding target system.</td></tr><tr><td>Description</td><td>Displays an additional description of the corresponding ping check, if available.</td></tr></tbody></table>

## Monitored Metrics

<i class="fa-eye">:eye:</i> This section only displays information if the monitored target system is available.

The line chart displays the target system's response time (round-trip time; RTT) in milliseconds (ms) over the past 24 hours.

{% hint style="info" %}
If the target system is unavailable for a certain period within the displayed time range, the line is interrupted accordingly.
{% endhint %}

## Quick Alert

<i class="fa-computer-mouse">:computer-mouse:</i> Click **Quick Alert** above the line chart on the right to create an alert directly from this view for the scenario in which the monitored target system is unreachable. The **Add Quick Alert** window opens with suitable settings already preconfigured.

<i class="fa-computer-mouse">:computer-mouse:</i> After configuring all settings, click **Add Alert** or **Add and Edit** to save and create the alert.

<i class="fa-computer-mouse">:computer-mouse:</i> Click **Close** to leave the window without saving your changes.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Please note**: If you leave this window without clicking **Add Alert** or **Add and Edit**, all configured settings will be lost and cannot be recovered.
{% endhint %}
