# Processes

The process overview gives you an overview of all processes running on the host that were detected by Pulsar.

***

:compass: Navigate to **Hosts** → **Overview** and click the name of a host to open the host detail menu on the [Dashboard](/docs/manual/english/platform-usage/host-detail-view/dashboard.md). Then click **Monitoring** → **Processes** in the host detail menu to show a list of all processes that run on the host.

The [process overview](#processes-overview) provides information such as:

* which process was started by which command.
* which process was started by which user.
* how much CPU and RAM load a process causes.

You can also [automatically refresh](#autoreload) the overview and [stop processes](#processes-overview) directly from the Enginsight platform.

## Navigation

### Sorting List Items

{% hint style="info" %}
By default, the process overview is sorted by CPU load.
{% endhint %}

:computer-mouse: Click the **Sort** icon :sort: next to a column name in the table header to sort by that column in ascending :angle-up: or descending order :chevron-down: .

:computer-mouse: Click the sort icon :bars-sort: above the list to adjust the priority of the applied sorting.
