# Asset Map

The Asset Map provides a visual representation of the network device inventory. Assets are grouped according to the subnets in which they are located.

***

:compass: Navigate to **Discoveries** → **Asset Map** to display the Asset Map. If no devices have been detected yet, this view is empty.

The Asset Map provides information including:

* the IP address and, if available, the MAC address of a network device.
* the subnet in which the detected network devices are located.

You can also view additional information about a network device.

***
