# Contingent Management

Quota management provides you with a central overview of your available and already used licenses. At the same time, you can manage your license portfolio here and purchase new licenses as needed.

In the license quota overview, the quotas for each license type (e.g., servers, clients, endpoints, assets) are summarized above the quota management section.

{% hint style="info" %}
GDATA CyberDefense is a legacy feature and can no longer be newly booked. The feature is only available to organizations that have already activated it in the past.
{% endhint %}

The organizational overview below shows you a continuous list of all suborganizations, including detailed license utilization for the different license types.

If license quotas have been set manually, “Available” refers to the dedicated licenses for the respective organization. If no quotas have been assigned manually, suborganizations have access to the entire quotas of the main organization.

## Set quotas manually

Under Manually set quotas, you can assign licenses to specific organizations and control distribution across the organization.

To do this, activate the slider next to Manually set quotas and enter the number of licenses to be assigned next to the respective license types in the boxes. Finally, save your entry by clicking Save in the respective row of the organization for which you want to make the setting.
