# Installation and Configuration

Here you will find all guides required to install and configure the Enginsight platform, its components, and the Enginsight SIEM.

## Important Notes

* We provide **support exclusively for Debian-based systems**. Any deviations from our documentation, such as modifying configurations, altering the recommended setup, or installing additional services on the same server, are outside the scope of our support.
* Enginsight Services are **orchestrated using Docker**. Therefore, the servers used for an Enginsight deployment should only run Enginsight-related Docker containers. Modifications to the deployment configuration, including changes to the `docker-compose.yml` file, may result in unexpected behavior.
* We strongly recommend that you use the **Linux image versions officially supported by Enginsight** when deploying the platform. Custom builds and modified operating system images are not supported.
* Please note that **Advanced Vector Extensions (AVX)** support is required for the installation of **MongoDB**.
