# Current Version Numbers

The Enginsight platform consists of individual components and microservices that are continuously updated. You can find all version updates for our microservices that are released between main releases in the [Changelogs](https://community.enginsight.com/changelogs-fp9o6xr5) section of our Community.

New versions of the Enginsight platform are announced in the Release Blog on our [website](https://enginsight.com/de/release-notes/).

## Current Release of the Enginsight Platform

The version number of the current Enginsight platform release is **4.9.0**.

Follow the instructions for an [automatic update](/docs/manual/english/installation-and-configuration/updates/enginsight-platform/automatic-update.md) or a [manual update](/docs/manual/english/installation-and-configuration/updates/enginsight-platform/manual-update.md) of the Enginsight platform to update your Enginsight on-premises instance.

The **latest daily versions** of the Enginsight Docker containers that run on the Application Server are also available on [GitHub](https://github.com/enginsight/enterprise/blob/master/docker-compose.yml).
