# How do I set up a main organization as an administrator organization in Enginsight?

A main organization can be set up as an administrator organization. This is useful, for example, if you manage several customer suborganizations as a partner and want to apply specific settings from the main organization globally to all suborganizations.

Follow these steps:

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
Log in to the **Enginsight Application Server**.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Open the Enginsight configuration file using the following command:

```
sudo nano /opt/enginsight/enterprise/conf/services/config.json
```

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Add the following section to the configuration file:

```
"administration": {
          "organisation": "<AdministratorOrganizationID>"
          },
```

{% hint style="info" %}
Remember to replace `<AdministratorOrganizationID>` with the ID of the main organization that you want to set up as the administrator organization.
{% endhint %}
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Save the configuration file (**Ctrl** + **o**) and confirm the save operation. Close the configuration file (**Ctrl** + **x**).
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
You now need to run the Application Server setup script again to apply your configuration changes.

Navigate to the directory containing the Enginsight configuration files using the following command:

```
cd /opt/enginsight/enterprise
```

{% endstep %}

{% step %}
Run the Application Server setup script again using the following command to apply your changes, and confirm all prompts by pressing **Enter**:

```
sudo ./setup.sh
```

{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}
